After seeing your honest review video I bought the Frontier XD. Very pleased with it. I was surprised with the amount of pegs, 24 in total. The price of the bivvy is well spend if you keep in mind that it’s made of 20.000HH material to keep you dry in the most worst weather conditions.

I love my frontier x I’ve had it for about a year now, had tempests for years and much prefer this. Like the full clear door for the colder months aswell, I have all the extras vapour shield and the overwrap for the colder months, wouldn’t change mine for anything

P.s you don’t need to take the infill panel off to pack it away mate I keep mine on all the time,

Top review buddy .... I traded in my tempest for this a year ago and the quality is awesome. Agree with everything you said ... one thing, I would defo go for the XD bags of room if you are a taller angler and perfect for short sessions as well as longer ones .. well worth the £700 !!! I've already watched a few tent videos, e.g.: Prologic Inspire SLR Bivvy, NASH TITAN HIDE CAMO PRO XL, TRAKKER TEMPEST RS. But this tent is still closer to me in terms of solutions. One thing I noticed with all models is that they didn't put in the transparent rain window that can be fixed with Velcro on the front, back, and side, which might have escaped my attention. in heavy rain, if you close everything because the rain comes in through the mosquito net, we can't see what's going on outside because we have to close ourselves and sit in a closet. how do you solve this? You made a good video.

Try putting it up in the wind and rain. Also the foot Matt causes the bivvy to flood if water gets under groundsheet as Velcro isn’t full length. In minus 4 mines froze up inside. In the strong gales last week a pole snapped.

Have owned the frontier for a while now, superb bivvy, well built etc, well worth the money, if you don’t like the price or weight which is fine imo then buy the lightweight version, best tip for you Ben, lay the groundsheet first where you want your bivvy position then set up bivvy, last job skull cap.

Love mine, disagree about the weight, it is bigger and it is lighter than my old Trakker advanced 100 brolly, and for what you get I think the price is fair for what you get. I pack mine down with the front attached as it saves time on the bank. Best bivvy i've ever owned and totally worth the money.

ive got one love it only thing is inlike fishing with the clear door but you cant have the clear door letter box style ive fannied on with the zips for ages and justblooks like you can only do it with the black out

Can you pack it away with the groundsheet attached? Class review, not going into silly detail. Would you say it's big enough for two bedchairs or would have to get the XD

It’s the best bivvy on the market. Always been a tempest man but this is so much better. More sturdy and let’s zero light through when zip the door up

I always look at the size of the bivvy packed up. This is a large unit to lump around.
