I went to China in 2001 and 2016... it had changed a huge amount in those 15 years. It had modernised a lot.
A lot of the racists in America still think China is exactly the same as it was back during the cold war.

I am not from China, but a 3rd Generation overseas Chinese born outside China. Have seen how my Grandparents, parents generation & my generation born in late 50s - 60s era. We all experience how to eat bitterness, with not much food nor shelter. However, we overcome hardship. I say Chinese people come from the school of hard knock. We will survive & be prosper. Life is more than politics it is about living what ever the circumstances are.

Very well said, Shaun. Yes, the Chinese had endured the highest degrees of adversity that most can even fathom. The stories of hardship from a 90 years old Chinese who told me as a witnesses of the extreme poverty that the Chinese went through. The Chinese will unite as a country to fight this unjustified bullying.
