If you want to be able to show more of a difference in performance, try loading games like Cyberpunk and big sp games, Multiplayer games will load at different speeds based off players and latency.

NVME = High FPS in 0.1~1% Low = NO STUTTER!
SATA = Down FPS 0.1~1% Low = HIGH STUTTER!

Wonder when we will see a good jump in load times with future nvme its not been a big difference ever since they came out really odd

this is a lie there's no need to buy an nvme if you already have SATA SSD, why!? because the reality is just 1to 3 seconds faster load in gaming other than that if you put an nvme it uses the lane of PCI express 5 or 4 depending on your motherboard and that makes less lines for your GPU for example a PCI 5x16 with nvme ssd will give your GPU a PCI 5x8 but SATA SSD don't do that so if you don't have SSD you should buy nvme but if you already have a SATA SSD there's no need to buy a new SSD, you can put the money on your GPU and get a better one it even makes your fps better

Unless there are hidden loading screens in-game there shouldn't be any difference in fps. I'm a bit sceptical of your testing methods. Are you sure you didn't have any Windows or network related background tasks going on, had same version of the games etc.?

Looks like the 1% low avg is a bit better and the 0.1% low avg is quite a bit better for the NVMe. So maybe sometimes you can feel that in game? Less strong stutter?

So not worth to upgrade from ssd to nvme also the nvme can get really hot increasing the temp in your case
