Recently James White of @AominOrg debated Leighton Flowers of @Soteriology101 on the topic of Unconditional Election, specifically focused on John 6:44.

Leading up to the debate, poor Doctor White was the victim of a vast Provisionist Conspiracy. In a show of brilliance few could even imagine possible, Provisionists plotted to bury a 38 second criticism of Infant Damnation in the middle of a 4 hour livestream - knowing full well that James would see it and be forced to comment on it. Thereby, James walked into their devious trap, exposing he affirmed infant damnation and was subsequently forced to spend weeks pretending he did not hold the position so as to make the conspiracy truly successful.

This maniacal plot was due to the likes of @IdolKiller @ProvisionistPerspective @BraxtonHunter @TheChurchSplit and yes @Soteriology101

Yes, all of this was a ploy to distract poor Doctor White from preparing for his debate with Leighton nearly two months later, and allowing Leighton to cruelly raise this subject in the debate.

So he's calling Leighton a liar and ignoring the fact that, under his theology, this was all planned by God and that God's making him complain about it as if it was done in free will.

It is actually incredible that James White, after this debate, cannot respect Leighton as his brother in Christ, but would rather accuse him of malicious intent.

If James White cannot see the connection between Unconditional Election and Infant Damnation, I have serious questions for his ability to understand Unconditional Election.

Perhaps James White actually doesn't understand Calvinism.

James White is a great example as to why you shouldn’t take pride in your theology. You want to strive for truth in all things, but once you allow your sense of having found it to make you feel superior to others, you lose your ability to be corrected and humbled and, thus, become hardened.

James White and other prominent Calvinists, I fear, are in this state of hardening where they have too much pride to lose if they were to forsake their Reformed traditions.

Be loving towards and pray for James and his ilk. And be prayerful and vigilant that you never become like him in your own views.

At this point, James could be correct in every theological point and still be disgracing Christ in the way that he behaves. And I fear that he is dragging many of us down along with him.

Lol I was thinking this as he was saying it on the dividing line. I’m thinking, does this guy really think all of the staff at Trinity Seminary came together and really said, “stay away from John 6 or you will lose”. That’s got to be one of the most insane takes I’ve ever heard.
