Pentatonix - Aha!, Singapore, The Star Vista If there any Pentatonix live performance that begs for a confidence coach to react to, its that one.

I've always noticed how great Avi is with eye contact. Even in interviews you can tell he is such a good listener. When he preforms with choirs, he looks at the students and you can tell what he's saying without him speaking. He has a whole different kind of deep to his eyes. He's so gentle, but powerful. Is this a love note I'm writing? I'll never tell!

Mitch suffers greatly from stage fright even today he was talking about it just a week ago before going on stage.

It's so funny you did this video about making eye contact (Especially with a camera). Pentatonix filmed an appearance on a Disney Channel show, and they had real trouble NOT looking at the camera. They'd been so well trained to make eye contact in their videos that it was hard to do anything else. =) Also, Mitch's BEST eye contact moment is in their performance of "Dog Days are Over" on The Sing Off. That performance was his graduation from apprentice to full on Deva, and the look he gives the camera shows that he is truly aware of his power, possibly for the first time.

It was fun watching you get pulled in to the point of mimicking head movements.

What a different way to look at this performance! I'm really interested to see what else you find if you do more of their performances - they are each so different but fans feel so close to all of them, I bet the performance aspects you are looking at are a big part of their success. Thanks!

It really does sound like they are backed by a band. The fact that every sound comes from their bodies is fan-freakin-tastic!

Avi engaged the camera right as he started, prior to it getting directly in front of him. Very skilled

I'm here on a Pentatonix reactors killing spree :) ... and I must say your approach, the "eyes" thing is really unique and still makes sense :) Thank you so much! You have a new subscriber :)

I strongly recommend Disturbed's cover of Sound of Silence, it's a super powerful performance.
Also if you haven't seen it, P!nk's award show performance of Glitter in the Air is an excellent display of confidence, and she actually did an interview where she talks her way through how she was *feeling* during the performance.
For your next Dimash reaction, if there'll be another, I'd say do "Ogni Pietra" at Arnau; you think you've seen a confident Dimash? You haven't seen anything til you've seen that performance.
