Awesome trick. Thanks! I got same lens and it works wonders. Actually, on lens button works much more consistent for Eye AF than on camera buttons.

can you program it to switch focus zones? I have my AEL button for AF and I like to have it in center spot but sometimes I have A face on the sides and I want to keep it there but focus on it not in the middle, so I want to focus in the center spot with AEL but focus in wide area with the button on the lens.

Hi Jeffrey. I’m switching from Nikon d810 to the Sony a7riii. I used the back button exclusively to focus. When holding the button, I could I could focus on my subject and then recompose without lifting the button. Can the Sony do the same?

What a joke, what is 'focus hold' no demo..my button does nothing. I tried auto focus and manual focus..the button does nothing
