Lately, I have been using Non Metallic Metal on a lot of my miniature projects, and while I love it, I am constantly faced with 2 issues. It can take a long time, and it is very easy to end up with desaturated, washed-out colors.

For this project, the Lord Invocatus from the new World Eaters range, I wanted to see if I can incorporate Contrast Paints into my process to boost the colors and to find ways to make the process faster, while not losing too much on the quality side of things. The end result, imho, is a pretty vibrant and decent looking NMM in much less time than usual.

I’m painting him now. He’s a dog to paint fully assembled. I’m painting the juggernaut separate and that’s also a dog to paint fully assembled. DOH. You have some interesting ideas here though.

Technically good, but I think it looks awful, you don't suspend my disbelief for a second. There's nothing natural in the garish colours
