I'm a psvr2 user myself, but I hope this is a very nice console that gets a lot of attention. As much interest in vr as possible is good for all of us.

I owned the quest 1 & 2, and I had a pc for a bit. However, I love my psvr 2 and I don’t think I could ever go back to a standalone VR headset. Let’s hope though that the quest 3 along with psvr 2 is successful.

Is Quest 3 good for watching wirelessly YouTube VR, Badoink VR (asking for a friend), and Google Earth? I am not interested in the games but rather in those three apps.

Looks really neat. I'm actually pretty excited for Quest 3. ...Obviously still waiting for Valve Deckard, but Quest 3 will be a nice stopgap until then. I do think that Eye and Face/Mouth tracking not being included is a HUGE missed opportunity, especially for PCVR VR Chat players with full-body tracking. The level of immersion is second to none and that would have been massive. That Espire MR Missions game looks neat! One thing I will say: A lot of the big VR content creators keep mentioning how Red Matter 2, specifically, has been optimized for Quest 3 and how excellent it looks...This is great, but will not be the norm for most games. That's the big issue. We need MOST games to be like this, but it's not going to happen. It may be worth waiting a while after Quest 3 drops to see reviews on a slew of new games before jumping in. I fear that some may think that their Quest 2 games will automatically all look like Red Matter 2, if they just get a Quest 3. Unless the game is specifically designed for Quest 3, or optimized/remastered, it will just look the same. Yes, screen resolution will be sharper, but it's the same game. Really hoping to see some nice Unreal Engine 5 games as well. I love that Bobo VR is making an upgrade kit, for the M2 Pro. That's very thoughtful, so those of us that already have one can just switch over and keep swapping batteries!

Mixed reality Is ok to offer but I feel they are focusing too much on it. We need a lot more games as games are what drives the sales for VR. Personally I put the headset on to escape my environment.

I'm so glad Bobo are doing the retrofit kit. It's going to be a must-by for me. I hope they do something with the controllers as well. They are killing it in the headstrap dept. The Quest3 looks so damn good so it's a must-by for me, I just hope it ain't sold out by mid to late oct!

Any chance you saw how much space Assassins Creed was taking up on the Quest 3? I'm going to upgrade from a 256gb Q2, but I'm unsure if the 512gb one is worth it. My typical rotation of apps on the Q2 really don't take up much space and I don't think I've ever deleted a paid app on the Q2. Unless the apps are going to see a massive jump in size, I'm thinking the 512gb might be overkill.

Red matter 2 looks on par with PSVR2 but runs at 90 fps so not on par then 😂 i wish people wouldn't say stuff like that. it's objectively not true.

I think the best use of MR will be in semi-immersive version of classic VR games, for exemple beat saber or broken edge but with reality being shown on the side where nothing important is displayed in game, as it would let you interact with other people in your room while playing them

U outdid Urself with this 1 Bruv! I’ve only VR’d with SONY before now and have had interests in other platforms, but never made the leap as many others have. My only question is, What’s the projected roadmap duration plan at currently? Quest 2’s lifespan is at 3 years now and I’m sure it’ll be around for a bit longer, but in regards to my investment I’d like to have an idea of it’s expected returns if possible. Thanx, Oh and they shud use some of this footage in their marketing campaign, GG GT! 👊😎
