AMS 5766 is a specification for Incoloy 800 or in generic form alloy 800. The UNS designation is N08800.
Nominal composition is 45% Fe, 32.5% Ni, 21% Cr, .38% Ti, and .38% Al. This alloy is typically used for low stressed components that require heat, corrosion, and /or oxidation resistance.
Material is in the solution treated condition. Applicable material is in the form of Bars and Forgings. Yield strength of 25 KSI minimum and tensile strength of 65 KSI minimum is required.
