What is Incoloy 800 per AMS 5871?

AMS 5871 is a specification for Incoloy 800 or in generic form alloy 800.
The UNS designation is N08800. Nominal composition is 45% Fe, 32.5% Ni, 21% Cr, .38% Ti, and .38% Al. This alloy is typically used for low stressed components that require heat, corrosion, and /or oxidation resistance.
Material is in the solution treated condition. Applicable material is in the form of sheet, strip, and plate. Yield strength of 25 KSI minimum and tensile strength of 65 KSI minimum is required. Check the Specs!!!
