As an atheist, this shit was hilarious. The vision board shit killed me because I actually know atheists that believe in that kind of stuff. “God isn’t real but me wishing for things or ‘manifesting’ them will actually work by some cosmic energy” or whatever the hell they say. It just proves that not all atheists have thought out the “why” behind their atheism.

I'm a black Christian based on my upbringing, but I also question if there's an afterlife. The shít that I've been taught from birth makes me question a lot about Christianity and the teachings when it comes to heaven or hell. It seems like it all comes down to perception 🤷🏽‍♂️

I have no idea what a vision board is, but anyway, if I was offered eternal bliss I'd take it in a heartbeat. The problem is that there is zero reason to think such a thing exists.
I'd also love to go to Neverland, Hogwarts, Middle Earth, and that giant butt world that Rick and Morty travel to sometimes (because that's my idea of heaven anyway) but I also have no reason to believe any of these places exist, so, best not spend my life on my knees praying to Peter Pan.

Not our religion.
Atheists do not have special sites or places to meet, nor do they have traditions and rituals.
One would think the height of privilege might be forcing people to convert to the " true " religion.

My grandmother was so religious. She went to church all during the week and had the Bible memorized. Her son, my uncle was so proud to be an atheist/agnostic that he would just tell anyone whether they cared or not. He would puff out his chest and smile and tell people to see what their reaction would be. Unfortunately, my cousin his son got cancer. My uncle called me up and said that he had asked my grandmother to pray for my cousin. And I said to him, and who is she supposed to pray to? You don’t believe in God or Jesus. Now something is going wrong and you want her to pray. Made no sense to me.

Atheism is not believing there are any gods. Agnosticism is a separate topic. It's about knowldege and whether it is possible to prove or have absolute certainty about whether gods exist. Agnostic atheism and agnostic theism are very common. It's only a joke if he and his audience don't know this so I'm a bit surprised.
