I have often wondered if the Shroud was amongst the treasures of the Knights Templar's !!!

The Shroud is precisely what it is putported to be. The blood contsined therein had the same genetic signature as another relic - the Sudarium in Spain. The Sudarium was a cloth wrapped around the jaws and head of the deceased to close the mouth and cover the face. The image projected onto the Shroud is one of a male with the hair braids of a Hebrew Man of the time of Christ's death. For many years the method by which the imsge was projected on the cloth was a puzzle. The way it was generated created am odd 3-D type of effect. MOST RECENTlY, chemists have concluded the onky way the image could have bern produced was through a sudden burst of energy. This video gives an extremely abbreviated, superficial and in some respect, distorted perspective of the Shtoud. Skeptics have long labelled it a Medieval forgery but more current studies tend to indicate its veracity.

the impression is wrong if it was made from a 3d person the cheeks the nose and more weirder the hair and ears wouldn't be like that in a linen that would have dropped around the 3d person under that has been proven many times the fact that it's not mentioned is ridicule since by itself it proves to be a flat painting of a face.
the blood wouldn't have transfered to the shroud since the body was dead for a while with no liquid blood and it was WASHED before being wrapped in the shroud. so no bleeding
the ethnicity of the figure you see doesn't match the ethnicity of the people living in judea at that time.
the shroud was never EVER mentioned anywhere before it was found at the craziest time in the christian history to prove the church had proof of jesus and made it justifyin all it's evil ways and the abuse they make their followers suffer.

the bible is a story of many people who thought who were prophets. ROMANS HAVE LOTS OF PROOF OF THOSE OTHER PROPHETS BUT NONE OF ONE CALLED JESUS, NO RECORD OF ANYTHING CLOSE TO WHAT IS MENTIONED IN THE BIBLE, EVEN PILATE IS NOT FOUND IN THE ROMAN THINGS WRITTEN IN THAT TIME.
even some of the events that would have been reported to rome (NOTHING ABOUT JESUS OR IT'S FOLLOWERS) but plenty about other so called prophets

religion based on the jewish religion that is taking from all the other stories and religions from where the jewish faith emerged and the lies kept on with the jesus story and all they really have to prove their story is true is books written 300-400 years after the supposed facts but just like the old testament the new testament is full of imposible thing to prove.
we can prove thing from many people in history like the greeks, and the sumerians and we can trace the celts troughtout europe from 8000 years ago but NOTHING CAN BE PROVEN FROM ANYTHING IN THE BIBLE or the quran. so the 3 religions have no proof but books that are the only one that mention what happended
the only miracle that ever was true is that people actually believe this BS

The Catholic church would have kept the original hidden/secret.
No doubt.

Silly people! It's what Jesus SAID that was important, it is his MESSAGE, not some shroud or any other artifact on this Earth.

An earthquake released neutrons? I don't think that's a thing. Kind of like resurrection of the dead.

All wrong. Christ was buried by 2 cloths, not one, Jn.20:1-7. There's no shortage of idol worshipers since the beginning of time.

Emperor Constantine was not a Christian but declared Christianity a legal religion within the Roman Empire. His mother Helena was a Christian for sure and had an influence on her son. Constantine is said to have been Christianized on his deathbed.

How proud and happy I am that the shroud has been kept all this time for everyone to see Jesus' face. The amount of souls that decided to be saved because of it must be a large number, but not large enough.

Hiram Key - google the two authors - Lomas and Knight NEITHER has an academic background related to the subject matter pertinent to the Shroud. One is a businessman and former actor. Lomas' "research" into the Freemasons is of questionable veracity and rejected by most M0asonic scholarship. The consensus of Masonic researchers is the Freemasons go back to thr medievsl craft guilds of England of the 1300's from whence the earliest Masonic documents date. Some Masons believe the order might possibly have connections to the Knights Templar after they were surpressed by Phillip the Fair and the Catholic Church but no further and even that is highly speculative.

The resurrection was not found three days later, but 'on the third day'. In the Roman way of counting, Friday (crucifixion) was the first day, Sabbath was the second day, and (Easter-) Sunday was the third.
This caused the Romans when adopting the Egyptian regulation of leap years (known as the Julian calendar to make every third year (the fourth year). But this was corrected immediately, and so this regulation was in force until 1582 when the first countries adopted the Gregorian calendar.
