Hi, I used the cotton balls to remove the wax as well, but it was a bit messy, so now I use a syringe to "suck out" melted wax and it works so good. Than I empty the syringe while the wax is still liquid and wash it out in very hot water to clean the syringe form the wax.

I use the cotton ball method for wax melts, why didn't I think of doing that for my candles too? Well now that you showed me I will from now on. I'm really hoping the top melt will improve the throw to some GC candles. Oh and I love bbw chocolate Graham and GC blueberry muffin in the back ground. 2 of my most favorite scents. Thanks as always for another great video.

Cotton balls are the most common sense for sure. I have a candle lamp coming today that I just ordered, with my husband being a fireman he hates an open flame.

I used a candle lamp for my BBW candles too. However, I don't use it for a fixed number of hours each time. As a result, for my single-wick candle, sometimes 1/4, 1/3 or 1/2 of the wax melted into liquid wax. Once, the whole candle turned into liquid wax. How would I know how much liquid wax to remove then if I can't smell the fragrance anymore?

Thank you so much. Love your reviews. I have the same candle warmer and the hurricane.

Was it ever explained in this video WHY you take the wax off? I'm new to this method and it's like everyone on the internet knows a secret but they won't explain it

I think it would be nice if you make videos for candle used up (empties).

I just started using a candle lamp. My Homeworx 4 wick candles seem to melt almost all the way to the bottom every time, therefore I can still smell the fragrance everytime so far. I switch candles every 4-5 hours and therefore I don’t get used to a scent and apparently it helps my candles to retain their scent longer. I’m assuming that eventually I will not be able to smell the melted wax and that will be when I cotton ball it out? I do use a candle crock as well for candles I’m just over with. And yes, those end up not smelling anymore. But right now I am just waiting for one of my candle lamp candles to stop smelling in order for me to remove any wax. So my question is…will this eventually happen with candles that get melted half way to almost all the way down to the bottom eventually? Or have you or anyone else experienced what I have so far…and that is your candle is letting off a scent with every melt?

I didn't throw away the candle wax and just let it dry 😅 and next day i warm my candle again .. what to do ? Was it okay to keep the wax?

I just dump it in the garbage when the part that is liquid looses it's scent. I do the same but put the jar when when the wax is low in a candle jar warmer. I love those. Just set the whole jar into it.

Doing this doesn't absorb the scented oils?? I'm confused xD
