Apple has just released the RC (release candidate) build of iOS 16.2 for both registered developers and public beta testers, after going through 4 Beta stages. Along with this iOS release, Apple also dropped the RC update for iPadOS 16.2, macOS 13.1, tvOS 16.2, watchOS 9.2 and HomePodOS 16.2.

This karaoke feature is great, but Apple really needs to add AI generated chapter marker breaks in the Podcasts app and live on device live text transcripts and search. Also, the ability to share podcast segment with start markers so recipient can start at the exact spot.

Battery life feels okay. I my definitely drains faster than expected, but I do use the always on display 70% of the day. I’m sure 5G UW isn’t helping either. But I do expect better battery life by 16.4 ofc

The iCloud backups and photos/notes now being end-to-end encrypted is absolutely monumental! This has brought back a lot of trust for me in Apple. Totally unexpected and I’m very astounded!

The recovery thing should be used for getting into a iTunes locked iPhone, that'd honestly be a pretty useful feature if some kid or something locks it to iTunes

Airdrop for 10 minutes spoiled everything, now i always have to switch this option as i dont have contacts among ones who i share with airdrop

The airdrop update is pretty scary. That’s directly interfering with protests. If it was not meant to interfere, they would have added “after 10 minutes” alongside “everyone”.

It's nice that the AOD now can go full black. But, I still wish that the notifications on the AOD only show the Apps logos just like the one in Samsung.

every since 16 & the 14pro i feel like autocorrect has been garbage & my appleID never shows up i have tried everything. minute complaints but for what these phones cost those things shouldn’t be issues.
