Apple just released iOS 16.6 Beta 3 for registered developers, and soon for Public Beta testers. This is being released 2 weeks after Beta 2 and while the initial Beta showed us a preview of a long-awaited new feature, Beta 2 took it away, and it's still missing in Beta 3.

Performance and Battery wise I am getting excellent performance on iOS 16.6 RC build. Software experience is as good as new and I am getting a screen-on-time of 8 hours with video calls (1-2 hours).

Normally I can tell when an update is available when I check the App Store for updates. But I just did updates last night and I checked now and have 41 app updates.

Is something supposed to be coming or is this the reason?
