The 12th house doesn’t have to be that menacing! Simply a seemingly “extreme” sense of being that is transcendental of the “norm”.

Seriously THE BEST teacher of Astrology! I had some arguments with people who say "your Rising is only how other people see you, it's not your personality" I feel just as much a Scorpio (Rising) as I do a Capricorn (Sun).
My Natal Mars is Retro in Leo and I'm a VERY private person. My Natal Saturn is also Retro and I'm a bit of a non-conformist. Natal Saturn and Jupiter Retro - when they Retro'd this year I felt a weight was lifted, and also during their Retro this year is when my career took off.

This is fascinating. I have a Scorpio Ascendant and when transiting Pluto (modern ruler) conjuncted my natal Mars (traditional ruler) in Sagittarius, I had a major windfall and very positive life changes.

As someone with the ruler of the 1st in the 9th I can tell you that philosophy and travel have been MAJOR life themes in my life. I havent l8ved in the same house for more than a year since I was 18 😅 Also, my parents were told a lot when I was a child by other adults that I was wise beyond my years and people are routinely surprised and even shocked by my age.

this was super helpful. i had never heard the bit about 8th house/suicide but it absolutely makes sense. i had two dear friends with cancer ascendants/ 8th house moons- one took his own life intentionally, the other died of an accidental overdose. obviously they had other aspects but i just thought that was super interesting. thank you ❤️

I have Taurus rising (Aqua sun Nd Cap moon so I'm having fun!) And every time Venus goes retrograde, something horrible would happen, especially around money. My Venus is in Sadge in the 8th, that seems to have been a phase from 2005- 2016. Since then its been more stable. I've never been suicidal. Lol! But I have been drawn to occult things without understanding why.
