Memory care residential programs started becoming popular in
the 1990’s and have grown in number dramatically as cases of
Alzheimer's disease have increased. Memory care uses all the
foundational pieces of assisted living but adds enhanced activity
programming and socialization, specific staff training, and a safe and
secure environment to prevent unsafe exit seeking.

We are pleased to invite you to this informative and helpful webinar
offering insights into residential memory care, which will also discuss
some of the added complexities with the COVID-19 environment.

This workshop is presented by David Troxel, co-creator of the
internationally recognized Best Friends™ Approach to Dementia
Care and memory care consultant to The Plaza Assisted Living and its
Hali‘a Memory Care program.
