One of the most challenging and painful parts of Eva is never seeing characters that I care about, get a hug from anyone. I wanted so badly for 3.0+1.0 to just show Shinji hug Asuka at some point. I wanted someone to just put their shit aside for a second and just hug someone and try and make it clear that they were there for them. It just never happens and I guess it never will.

This ship didn't end in the way I wanted and honestly I'm not entirely glad at the way it ended for these two romantically speaking. At this point at the very least they were honest. I'm still not sure if that's good or bad, but we got something I guess which is always better the nothin'

It hurts to watch this because I ship these two ever since the 90s. But at least they were honest in the end. Both of them have emotional baggage and complications so it was difficult. So as long as they're happy then that's all it matters 😊

The two had too much of emotional baggage to deal with. Their relationship wasn't going to be easy. I really loved the ending of the rebuild, specially when Asuka confessed to Shinji telling that she liked him, but they have grown apart

It is nice to have scenes like that to show that even when you love someone the relationship can still end. And for Mari to end with Shinji is a great message too, because a good relation and love can come from unexpected places (like a weird girl literally falling from the sky and sniffing you)

Is sad when you woke up, everyone you used to know and friends with all moved on so fast and grown up, build a family a village adapt and survive, and you were the villain except you are their savior. This really shows what happend if you went into comma and wake up. When Asuka said "But I've turned into an adult ahead of you" damn that line hit my kokoro not jsut her but everyone even class president look totally different

La razón por la que en parte me gustaba el AsuShin era porque sus personalidades se complementan en parte, ya que ambos eran completamente diferentes pero igual en sus problemas y condiciones, aún así.
Básicamente estaban tan cagados de problemas que al final no se podía hacer mucho.
