this video is soooo information-rich! thanks for taking the time out to create this for us. i wish i'd had this explanation when i got out (2018). usajobs is so intimidating at first. i had a TS clearance before i got out nd tried to get another job with it but wasn't able to. now, here i am 5 years later, trying to find a way to get another job with a clearance sponsorship.

This was such an outstanding video. I was looking for a video just like this because I will be retiring in under five months. Do you have a video on what you would do as a 20 year retiree?

Hey brother, thanks for your videos and the quick/concise explanations you give! I found you at the start of my federal career search. I am going to assume most others are coming to your videos at a similar stage. It would be helpful to have a "Start Here" link or something like that for a series of videos.

Hi, thanks for the videos! Does the GWOT, global war on terrorism medal count as a campaign badge for the veterans recruitment appointment?

Has the 10 point preference changed to a 10-30% percent service connected disability?

I wish I was a vet. You get additional points on your application package, where you basically get put to the top of the list.

Is it either or, for the 5 point and ten point preference or can you use both an get a total of 15 points?

Hi, thank you for your very informative video! Only confusing part about USAJobs is the whole GS requirements. For example some jobs say must have held GS-13 for 52 months or equivalent. Does this mean only people already a federal employee can get it. I'm just lost where to start and what I'm eligible to apply to. I'm a veteran with 40% disability.

Thanks for the video! One question: in order to qualify for the 5-point veteran’s preference, does my time in active duty service need to fall in between the time frame listed? Do I receive any veterans preference points if my active duty service falls outside of that time frame or I did not serve in Iraq or Afghanistan?
