(To be - lenni, / valamivé válni.
Van. - Van egy macskám. I have a cat.
Kedvel. - He/she likes.
Csinál. - He/she is doing.
To do = csinálni.
To say = mondani.
To walk = sétálni.
To work = dolgozni. Etc...

These are all common verbs that are useful to know. But the sample sentences are _much_ too complicated for a beginner who is just learning these verbs. They contain advanced grammatical patterns and the verbs are conjugated in many different ways in various tenses ...

Thanks for the lessons. The sentence examples were a bit tough though. Hungarian is not an easy language for an old guy to learn, lol.

tud is like tutkimus=investigation in finnish
and rajtad is like raja=border
vesz Comes from viedä=to take, deprive, to run sth
jön is juosta, juoksen=to run, I run

I like that stuff!

Vesz/elvesz = to take; megvesz = to buy; átvesz like átveszem a tananyagot, átveszi tőle a kutyust; kivesz = take out; :)

Mond means 'to say'? It's probably a coincidence but in Dutch 'mond' means mouth :-D

Just a bit of unsolicited feedback: There's no need to read the English when the text is there. It would have better much more useful to have read the target language twice
