Last year was my first attempt at carving a pumpkin and it was a mess! My daughter was so disappointed. I carved the lid straight up and down and the lid never fit on there again. And exactly what you said at the end how to carve starting with a bullseye or else the face would collapse, was exactly what happened. I think I started with the eyes first. And then when I tried the nose, that's when it collapsed. We just had half the face with the other half caved in. Watching this video I saw everything I did wrong. This time I'm sure I'll do better. And you explained it so nicely so I was able to easily understand.
