The first thing to do when your Android won't connect to Bluetooth is to check your media output source. It’s possible your devices are paired, but the audio you’re trying to listen to is playing somewhere else.

Then, make sure your devices are in range of each other, and that your Bluetooth device is in pairing mode. Toggling Bluetooth off and back on, restarting your Android, and restarting your Bluetooth device can all fix minor software issues. It's also a good idea to make sure your Android operating system is up to date.

To address a deeper software problem, try forgetting your Bluetooth device on your Android and setting it up like new. When you pair a Bluetooth device to your Android for the first time, it saves information about how to pair to that Bluetooth device. If some part of that process changes — which can happen with software and firmware updates — it could prevent your Bluetooth device and Android from pairing.

If your Android still won't connect to Bluetooth, try reseting your Bluetooth device and reseting the network settings on your Android.

None of this works, phone got update and now it'll pop up my Bluetooth devices bit won't connect to any of them. Just let's me know they are there

My Bluetooth fails to connect when on Zoom calls.
It was working using zoom prior to the recent Android update (12.22.23).
Bluetooth does work when operating YouTube viewing, but not using Zoom calls.

I have an android that does not connect to my laptop, but would connect to any other device. My laptop can also connect to other devices. I did all the recommended steps with no luck.

Hopefully you will do one with iPhones and CarPlay. With a late model Audi, sometimes it works and most times it takes a few tries, like turning the car off, opening the drivers door, closing it turning the car back on and from time to time, restarting the phone. Then it just works and then stops working. This is wireless CarPlay I might add. Hate it!

I feel so dumb. My new earbuds would only connect to my LG tablet & LG phone but not my Samsung phone nor laptop. I literally just held the button longer than normal and it paired. 😂😂😂

So my car used to connect and pair with my vehicle .. I've removed it deleted pairing, I start the pairing option in car.. when I search for devices the Santa Fe with 0000 code. I proceed to pair with Santa Fe .. it shows loading then says can not pair.. other phones connect no problem it's updated fully etc.

I've a different problem with bluetooth. I got Hp mouse once paired perfectly to my android tablet, and after switching to another device, when I switch back to Android tablet it doesn't connect again. This is really weird.

New samsung ao3s and bluetooth button is on. Restart, turn on earing aids Bluetooth does nothing. Why did they screw things up. Have never, ever had a Bluetooth conn3ction but low and behold they rose to the challenge. So tired of this technology rat race.
