Holosun Sleep Timer & Shake Awake Explained

In today's video we examine Holosun's Sleep Timer Adjustment & Shake Awake settings! #holosun #shakeawake

This will apply to all Holosun pistol optics like the 407/507K, 407/507C, 508T, 509T, EPS, and EPS Carry. It applies to both red and green dots, as well as the ACSS variation.

It will not apply to any of the SCS optics because they do not have shake awake.

In case anybody is lost:
-The Sleep Timer Setting / “Shake Awake” is not part of the Auto-Manual-Lock cycle.
-If your reticle is not turning on/off it is because the Sleep Timer Setting is on Setting 4 (sleep mode disabled).
-To enter, press the “+” for 10 seconds, wait around 30 seconds and hold “+” until it turns back on. Now pressing “-“ decreases the sleep time and “+” increases it. Press “+” and “-“ simultaneously to save this setting now.

Idk about everyone else’s model but I held down the plus button for 10 seconds then let it blink the number of times the correlate with the plus or minus buttons but DO NOT TURN IT OFF after that. Let it go off on its own according to the time you set

Thanks, you saved me from some huge confusion. Just received my 512T and the manual was telling me to hold the + button for 3 seconds, which is also the instruction to toggle between solar mode and battery only mode.

Good to know: on my 512T, I had to be on battery mode beforehand. This way, the 1st blink at the 3 seconds mark will switch it into solar mode, which is the only mode in which you can configure the Shake Awake.

When I tried holding it for 10 seconds while I was already in solar mode, it switched into battery mode, and the second blink at the 10 seconds mark never came.
