How To Fix Error Code 0x800f0922 When Installing KB5028185/KB5028254/KB5008353/KB5008880/KB5009566 On Windows 11
Step 1) Run Update Troubleshooter
Step 2) Use Windows 11 Installation Assistant
Step 3) Reset Windows Update Components
SC config trustedinstaller start=auto
net stop bits
net stop wuauserv
net stop msiserver
net stop cryptsvc
net stop appidsvc
netsh winsock reset
netsh winsock reset proxy
dism /Online /Cleanup-image /ScanHealth
dism /Online /Cleanup-image /CheckHealth
dism /Online /Cleanup-image /RestoreHealth
dism /Online /Cleanup-image /StartComponentCleanup
Sfc /ScanNow
net start bits
net start wuauserv
net start msiserver
net start cryptsvc
net start appidsvc

Right-click on the Wufix file and click Run as administrator
Restart your PC
Step 4) Use Media Creation Tool

Please help when i am installing update in windows 11 insider preview 25131.1000 (rs_prerelease) when i am updating and clicking on restart the it’s written working on update but then it crashes on 30% restarts then again go till 60% then again shutdown and then its saying undoing changes done i your pc please help

I had this issue. Tried all the above fixes and none worked. The windows installation failed & the cmd commands would fail with an error as well. When I checked the log it said that c:\ directory path doesn't exist. So I got the bright idea to check Event Viewer. This below error was more prevalent than the rest and correlated with the earlier error from the log generated by the cmd commands.

The transaction resource manager on volume C: was unable to create free space in its log due to a non-retryable error.

Did a google search and found a post on microsoft answers saying that the Windows File system transaction log is corrupted. Told me to navigate to & delet the .blf and .regtrans-ms files. Both of these files were missing from my directory even when show hidden files was enabled. Therefore, I decided to just continue on to the next step like I deleted them already and run the cmd command in the answear.

CMD command: fsutil resource setautoreset true c:\

Closed the command prompt and restarted my PC. Now windows update works and was able to install the new updates. Everything is working again!
