Is this the best daily wear watch for $700? Tissot Gentleman!

This is my alternative to a Rolex Datejust. The DJ is a spectacular watch that I may someday warm up to, but the Rolex cyclops really bothers me. So I searched high and low for an affordable alternative and I think I found it in the Gentleman.

I looked at Omega Aqua Terra, Seiko SARB, and few others, I picked the Gentleman based on the bargain price, comfort and the 80 hour power reserve, I know I made the right choice.

A great watch that gets lots of love on YouTube for good reason.

My only reservation are the lack of a screw down crown and the butterfly clasp. But for the price, maybe I can live with it.

Is the G-Shock series still a good watch? I am interested in a all around outdoor watch as cheap as I can find but still strong enough to take a LICKING!
