Is it only me or the "Oh, no! Gosh, poor Jeep" moaning was irritating as hell?

"Why can't I make it up a dirt hill on Prius tires?" 😂

Tires. They actually make a difference.

The Jeep Patriot would have made it up easily if it was an FDII model, and if the driver knew how to drive off-road.

It was a great little clip of the Patriot, but if she didn't talk it would be better 😁😁lol

Why are there so many people driving completely stock Patriots with street tires off road? I have the 4WD but I'm waiting until I lift it 2 inches with different tires and overhaul the suspension before I do anything. You guys are wild. XD

the woman's moaning was poorer than the Jeep

That Patriot driver needed a spotter he took a bad angle trying to go up and kept taking the same angle!

In case people want to know, the tires are brand new geolandar a/t. 4low + 4lock+ esp full off was used. I wish I had a spotter for this and maybe airing down the tires would have helped. I just couldn't keep the speed going up it. When I got to the highest point I tried to turn the wheel around to get it start going forward again with no luck. That hill was just super slippery with all the loose dirt. 2 of the tires would just keep spinning and the brake locks differential wouldn't fully stop them because there was still some partial traction on the slipping tires. It would just kind of pulse the brake locks.

i think the patriot could've made it if it wasn't a car they needed cause he could've carried more momentum up that hill and we also don't know what kind of tires and the tread depth of the tires

Try it again with a 6AT equipped Patriot?

I am pretty sure my 2015 Patriot with the 6 speed tranny and the OWL all terrain package will make it. I have traversed some pretty steep stuff.

My '15 Patriot has a 6 speed auto. I really do think it's the cvt that's the issue. Jeep has been bolting the cvt and manual to the 2.0 whereas the 6 auto gets the 2.4. Looks like the tires are not working well in this terrain as well.

went through worse stuff than that when my patriot was stock... now I'm running 31" tires and a 3 inch lift I'd fly up that no problem

I want the coordinates for this trail... I want to attempt it in a Subaru XV Crosstrek and a Subaru Forester XT. It does look terribly steep, though.

Is 4x4 locked mode active? I don `t believe. the patriot has a lockable 4x4 In short, here we see a bad driver. I have climbed to worse places with my Jeep Patriot

Aw man! I really wanted to see the Patriot make it. I wonder how a Renegade would do.

My relatively stock 2001 XJ would do this trail with ease, but my 2008 Patriot with a five speed manual gets stuck in minor, unpacked gravel! The Patriots lot in life is a tall car that gets reasonable gas mileage and is cheap to make. I wish they still made the XJ - I would be to the dealer so fast that I would appear to be a blur!

How about the 2015 jeep compass with the 6 speed auto trans? Try that
