One of the biggest mistakes I see people do is not start their channel cos they think everything is so expensive. You don't need to spend thousands to get started. You can literally start making videos with your smart phone and a decent mic and achieve some surprisingly good results. The biggest mistakes you can do is not start a channel!

Just an addition: You can also use droidcam for android coz if your laptop mic has a problem, droidcam helps u take mic input of your phone's microphone

Review: I just installed it (Epoccam). It's *_WAY_* better than my 1080p webcam, not even close. I think it's probably better than my Logitech Brio, too. The iPhone camera is obviously outstanding. One tip for readers, however, my older Mac laptop (maybe 4 years old) was acting up and not working right with it but my newer Mac (1-2 years old) worked flawlessly. But, it did take a couple of laptop and app restarts for the two devices to sync up and find each other the right way. That made me nervous but it's working fine now after a couple of tries. So, it can't hurt to try the free version to make sure it'll function right on whatever computer you use. Also, the free version image looks seriously low quality but the purchased version looks crisp. This is officially my new webcam.

That program still alive!? 😁 I used Epoccam on my Nokia over 10 years ago. I still have the files for it.
Best program around back then.

Great tip! Used Iriun through wifi for a 1.5 hour Zoom meeting yesterday connected to my Windows 10 desktop. Just 3 or 4 dropouts, a few seconds long each. The rest of the time there was no noticable lagging.
Tried installing it on my Windows 7 laptop afterwards, but my laptop couldn't find any phone.

Justin you started with OBS is this a 'nice to have or a have yo have'? I havent figured out how to get obs to work in zoom so getting confusing, good vid as always, i have irium ( quality fluctuates so i will try epoccam tks )

Iriun doesn’t allow you to use your phone camera? I didn’t see any options to do switch it like epoccam
