Ted Danson on his new comedy series 'A Man on the Inside'

"Cheers" actor Ted Danson's latest series is the Netflix comedy "A Man on the Inside," in which he plays a retired widower-turned-investigator who goes undercover in a nursing home. Correspondent Tracy Smith talks with Danson and series creator Mike Schur ("The Good Place") about how the show takes a clear-eyed look at aging. Danson also talks about aging gracefully, living life fully as long as you can, and why he feels "complete" in his life now.

This show is such a relief. Just so good to see some not naked, not shooting, not swearing, character growth and an uplifting grace. Well done to all but swings on Ted’s easy humour.

He's so endearing and forever handsome. I still fall asleep with Cheers on in the background. That show holds a special place in my heart. The last episode of Cheers aired the day my son was born. Ted mustn't worry, I feel plenty will watching the new show. I know I will❣️

Ted Danson is such a treasure of an actor, yes if we get to age beyond 70, we are so lucky and privileged, keep moving, I keep fixing my roof and other things around the house and garden, and it keeps me going and most of all keeps me young at 75 !

I know it’s 6 months late but I just saw the entire series this Memorial Day weekend. It’s fantastic! I lost my dad to dementia and everything he went through was in this series. Funny and tearjerking at the same time. Written and acted outstanding!
