I would take augments over weapon attachments. I loved the combos you could make with weapons like the pistol.

One of my fav augment was scoped salvo, the fire rate being decreased didn't changed much and the bonus damage on either the mk alpha or the twin mag ar was absurd (also worked well with snipers)

I really think Light Fingers is the most consistently good, especially if you got it along with either the Twin Mag or Combat SMG. Plus it's one of the few augments that stayed the entire chapter.

icy slide soaring sprints and redeploy combo was insane, you could get so far insanely fast

one cooked strategy i would use is holding the chug cannon augment until endgame or if i ran low on heals.
also the dub soaring sprints strategy was so beautifully fortnite you could never be upset if someone pulled it off.

The best thing about "First Shotgun" is that it wasn't affecting the ch4 heavy shotgun limit, meaning you could deal 200dmg in the head, in one shot

Kinetic Blade + Aerialist was honestly the best duo ever, and possibly top 3 movement methods of all time

Bro I think that the Rift Ejector Seat is probably one of the BEST augments in Fortnite.
It was literally just a get out of jail free card.

Augements were such a good addition, for me, it made games feel fresh and unique, I hope they return in Chapter 6, as long as they are fun, yet balanced

Exotic Grab Bag: the thing is you could use any of the exotics (maybe not the Run n’ Gun, as it’s a bit weak) and have an insane weapon as they’re all OP to some capacity

Storm Mark: not even including competetive, it can still help in literally any situation like when you’re fighting or get out of storm or even when you’re finding the last person, it’s insanely broken

Bush Warrior: will say it is fairly solid but especially in Comp where you’re likely to take damage due to surge

Aerialist: free redeploy helps with rotation and no fall damage so 100%

First Shotgun: easily top 3, x1.25 base damage with the first shot while most shotguns (like pump-like shotguns) being already insane base damage makes this augment shine so much im practically blind, the Charge especially shined well as it could deal 200 which in builds it doesnt matter how much damage you deal after that, a full charge with no headshot also dealt 195.. jeez

Keymaster: it is actually solid because you always found something good like an Epic, very good augment.. as long as you are by key chests

Trackers Armory: this is the only one imma disagree with, the Flare Gun is good i will say that but the pistol isnt that good when its accuracy is kinda meh for its damage, Tactical Pistol is basically a better Suppressed Pistol
