do you guys remember XP coins? They use to be all around the map in I believe chapter 2. They came in green, blue, purple and gold. Man I wish epic would’ve just kept those things around. It was a very good way to gain XP. I couldn’t tell you how much those things saved me from almost missing some entire tiers in the battlepass😔

the snowballs from chapter 4 season 1 are absolutely forgotten just like the weather events

there’s also slap. it was really big in chapter 4 but it’s just gone now. it was pretty much entirely replaced by nitro too.

If they ever did an alien season again they should definitely bring back the parasites but have more of them that give you different effects.

Maybe one that gives you nitro, one that heals you, one that gives you soaring sprints

Remember 14 Days of Fortnite in December 2018? It released to some of the most unique game modes only for 1 day at a time. (Sneaky Silencers, Steady Storm, Score Royale, Barebones, Love Shot, Ground Game)

Cosmic chests were in the game for 2 seasons, they were just insanely rare in chapter 2 season 8 and most people ignored them. I remember getting rainbow ink for toona fish from opening a cosmic chest back in that season

I think another forgotten one was that the Chrome from C3S4 had a lot of effects, including regenerating health of both players and vehicles (I think it was like 1 health every few seconds). It would also distort the music from emotes when you were covered in Chrome too.

The augments for chapter 5 season 1 were leaked but never got enabled, its cool to see all the new ones they made that almost made it to the game, and imagine the augments linked to this season with nitro or cars, probably would be too op tho

The alien parasites would make your voice distorted to your teammates in the party chat, I remember this happening and it was pretty funny

Ngl, baffles me that we played for so long with AR’s hitting so hard. Especially chapter 1 heavy AR, if I recall is was a 96 or 98 headshot for legendary

i think they just removed augments to have more room for modding to be its main gimmick of the season. there were files for augments for chapter 5 that got canned, kinda glad they did cause i feel like itd be a bit too much to juggle

The Dial-A-Drop Item from Chapter 3 Season 4 is quite forgotten.

I think most people probably forgot that if you jumped in the zero point it healed you to full heath, I think it was in CH2 S5

I vividly remember the voice changer with the parasites it was so weird and unintelligible it’s the main reason you wouldn’t use it, because your teammates can’t hear you
