Yeah the motion stair lights eat battery life. I probably would not get them again.
If you find a 12V motion light system for the interior of the cabinets, please do a video. I'd love to add them. Especially since we already have 12v source in the cabinets for the under cabinet lighting.

I've done a few of these upgrades. I put up a magnetic cover over my door window so I can fold it up just a little to see out when someone is at the door.

We have some of the same upgrades and mods you have, including a magnetic knife rack. Ours is from IKEA and never had a knife come off in 5+ years. I noticed your knives have a coating which might be the reason they don't stay on.
