In this video I will find 3 electric fluxes Flux1=?, Flux2=?, and Flux3=? associated with 3 different Gaussian surfaces around groups of 2 to 3 charges of 5 point charges.

Next video in this series can be seen at:

theorem is hard but this seem easy :))

when they ask me for the bigger and the smaller flux do we care for the signal or we just look for the number and order from great absolute number to absolute number????

This helped me, last minute! Thank you sir!

That was a nice video. But I have one little question. In the Gauss` law, the formula "Electric Flux= Q/epsilon " was proved as if the point charge was in the center of the Gaussian surface. How can we use the same formula here as the charges are not centered rather scattered on the surface?

Well.. I was wondering..
That means that the "cos" - in the flux equation - theoretically indicates the magnitude of the area that the field goes through, not for being perpendicular to the surface.
Am I right?!

Wouldn't the other charges outside the Guassian surface affect the flux?

Thank you so much sir🥰 New subscriber. I have a little question. Why does S1 not have x10^-6 and where does the total x10^5 came from. When I input the number in my scical the 3/ 8.85x10^-12= 3.389830508 x10^11. Where did I go wrong? Thank you.

sir, I have one confusion. In this video, you said that the electric flux is vector representing the flux going inward or outward of the Guassian surface, but I learned that the electric flux is scalar from my university professor and google. Can you explain this point please, thanks!

Shouldn't the flux equation EA be in the integral form because E is not constant?
Thank you for the video.

What if there are 2 positive charges, 4 negative charges, and 5 neutral charges in one surface? Do I just not pay any attention to the neutral charge and just add the 2 positive and 4 negative charges?

sir, you said the charges must be kept at the centre of the surface so that E renains constant, but here the charges aren't at the centre.please explain

What if the 1st surface have 4 negative charges. What will be the electric flux?
Q1= -4C
Q2 = -2C
Q3 = -3C
Q4 = -1C
