Simulation and animation of an automotive suspension based on a quarter-car (single wheel) model. Solution of the associated multi-objective optimization problem, quantifying the tradeoff between comfort and handling performance metrics. MATLAB code for the simulation and animation aspects of the video is available at:

A more advanced solution method for an active automotive suspension co-design problem (integrated control and physical system design) is available at:

A corresponding ASME journal paper is available at:

Demonstration code for general multi-objective optimization is available at:

Hi, can i make a question?
how can i find the force contact between wheel and road?
[z1dotdot]=[0 diff(y(:, 2))'/dt2] is it right?
i don't understand which y column represent z1 position.
thanks u very much

I have to give a specific road input to unsprung mass and take the data of the sprung mass. Please can you help with the code for that?
displacement, acceleration of sprung mass

Is there a model which doesn’t have the tyre spring attached to the road. This is a large limitation.
