It looks grosser than it is. He probably has hard water with iron in it (basically rust). If he pumps from his own well, no matter what kind of filtration you use, it's hard to filter out. I have that problem as well. You can't see it in the water but it builds up. You can clean it regularly and it's clean but to remove the stain you have to use special cleaners.

What do you recommend for these plastic tubs/shower walls? I know you can't use hard cleaners that destroy the plastic because they dirt is absorbed in the plastic. That's not good! 😊

I need help. My tenant moved out after seven years. It looks like he never cleaned the bathroom. My family and I have been cleaning the apartment for weeks. The shower is the worst. It's horribly stained and grimy. I tried bleach, lime away, detergent, etc. repeatedly. I think I might have that Ryobi tool and attachment but never thought of using it for cleaning.

Or just leave it overnight or 2 days in dawn dish soap and bleach with a saturated Terry cloth towel (that is thrown away after use).
