Got Keqing on my beginner wishes. Went on a JOURNEY to find cor lapis, and that's the story of how I uncovered the map and got every teleport.

Kind of wish there was some sorta weekly merchant where you can buy materials from regions you can't access yet to at least get characters to 40 or something. At least for certain AR's within reason.

Yeah the newcomer Genshin experience can be really rough if it's a Inazuma (and eventually onward) character haha.

I've included in user surveys that they could for now, do the EASIEST bandaid situation to solve this general issue:
Add both regional specialties and world boss materials to the Stardust/Starglitter shop with monthly limits. We already have things like handguards and Specter materials in the stardust shop, as well as Dust of Azoth to convert ascension gems around.

If they did this simple bandaid, the only missing thing would be level 6+ talents, but that's not a high priority for new players to get talents that high.

0:43 Correction there. She can be Lv40 before Inazuma. Just do her Character Trial and she get the materials for first ascension. Of course the account need to be AR20 WL1. It's when getting pass Lv40 that you need to be able to visit and completed the Enkanomiya quest to unlock the over-world Elite boss, where you can farm for the character ascension materials. Either way, the new player requires to get to AR30 to get their inazuma (or more specifically, Yae) character pass Lv40. AR25 = Lv50, AR30 = LV60. Now-a-days, you can get to AR30 with in a day (that is if you played non-stop). If you have a life outside of gaming, then it might take a week or two. World Level 1-3 is a breeze for Lv40-60 characters.

They have to find a solution to fix this lol. Imagine you are a new player getting a Natlan or Snezhnaya character.. 🗿

Imagine a newbie being lucky enough to get double Dainslief in their first 10 pull when Celestia gets released- theyd have to progress thru the archon quests EVER and reach AR 65 to level him up. Makes me feel bad just thinking about it. Hoyoverse realy should add an exchange option, like a pyro resigvine seed for one bathsymal vishap drop. Only fair :)

That happened to me when I get Thoma on my first account... I've been searching for this mushrooms for him for a really long time. I collected these that grows in the water in Inazuma but it was not the ones I needed. It took me so long to find out that the mushrooms that I need grow in Tsurumi. And Thoma is one of my favorite characters... Imagine the pain of being unable to use him in your team

My idiot nephew did that exact same thing where he cracked open 20 fragile resins at AR 33. He didn't ask me about it or read the description. He still has over 900 resin just sitting there to this very day.

That used to be me in the beginning when I got the Raiden Shogun and I didn’t go to Seirai Island at Inazuma until then.
But right now, my current teams has started to get way better.

Aww how nostalgic, remembered how I got my first main dd Chongyun on my beginner wishes and then I had to take a big risky journey into the unknown to find cor lapis for him. I fell in love with Liue instantly, it was a trip to remember really.

An easy fix would be convertion method to allow new players to change thier mats to inazuma mats like how you change the rewards from weekly boss battles.

For old players, the Noelle banner was not that bad since we got fuckload of wishes when game started. But for new...yeah it sucks lol. But you can use normal wishes you get from Ar lvl ranking and upgrading tree and shit, so its not that big deal. Of cose new players dont know that.

I mean technically, Banner Characters CAN go to Level 40 before their area gets unlocked if you do the Test Run Events for them.

But yeah, once those Boss Mats become a necessity, good luck...

Noelle is honestly not a bad character for a beginners wish. She is a claymore so she can mine all those rocks that your ori 4 takes longer time. She shields and she heals... which provide a survivability unit before you get the free Barbara

I've been playing since day 1. This video (and the fact that I love playing the game) is why I keep up with the game lol. Had everything done (EVERYTHING (well except the RNG achievements)) before 2.6...and now of course, I'm working on 2.6.

i’ll be honest here… i didn’t pay attention to the tutorial and missed an entire banner before i remembered wishing existed because i kept getting primos but didn’t know what they were for 😅

I don't regret pulling on Beginner Banner though. My friend and I got our respective first five star from there. (Hers Keqing and mine Diluc)
