whether or not you like the loud hollywood style it merely skims over partial history with much ignored (1st two episodes) for example the 10, 000 year old oregon sites with no mention of the yukon's blue fish cave sites (20, 000 years old) etc. It's a high octane western biased incomplete thrill ride full of incorrect implications. A more thoughtful indepth approach would make it a 10 out of 10.

Don't feel it. Too hyped; this documentary seems more like the romanticizing of humans rather than something that's factual and interesting. Trailers seem to target teenagers. And what are they doing (1:00) cooking chicken legs on rocks? This scene is closer to a 'survival expert' on YouTube than it is our history. People of the past would cook their meats- covering it with leaves and burying it in the ground with hot coals; They would heat up stones- put it in the dead animal's body and then sear/close the part that was cut open with fire torches. And many more things. Depicting such a shallow and repetitive image shows the simplifying and romanticizing of the past, leaving behind many practices that were closer to what they actually did.

A ok documentary, but the narrator is overdoing it so much. He does not seem to know what he is saying, he is just there to promote himself. He made me turn it off again.
