With so many other brands walking away from sedans, @Honda drops a fully redesigned version of. the #Accord for 2023! The 11th generation of the #HondaAccord is larger, more upscale, and really takes the electrified mission a lot more seriously. #Honda claims about 50% of Accord sales will actually be the #AccordHybrid with the Sport and up trims getting the latest version of the two-motor #Hybrid system. The latest #HondaAccordHybrid will be the most sophisticated sedan the company has ever produced.

Good morning everyone! We’ve been so excited to show you this video on the all-new 2023 Accord! SUV may be what Americans are buying, but the sedan is far from dead! We’re looking forward to seeing what Toyota has cooked up for the next generation Camry as well!

No more 2 liter turbo sport?! That was the best thing about the Accord.

Looks stale. It looks like a low powered, knockoff Walmart Audi. Except, Audi has great lines and industrial design. This new one should of went with it's own look instead of copying.

That engine noise sounds awful. Like a vacuum cleaner about to die.

Honda threw a pass at the 2-yard line instead of handing the ball off to beast mode🤦🏾‍♂️

I'm am honestly tired of this generation of life. Everything is just now bland and life is so meh. This is a shyte Honda, let's all be honest. Toyota was right, we are over electrifying everything.

I will say this: As a Honda enthusiast, If Toyota still has their Camry TRD 300hp V6 models, then I’m never going to look back at the pitiful 192hp 1.5T Accord and this 206hp hybrid. I loved the older 278hp 2017 V6 Honda Accord’s and even the 252hp 2018 2.0T Accords that used to win drag races against Ecoboom Mustangs; but if this pitiful 192hp is all they got that’s not a hybrid, then I am no longer on the market for an Accord, and the Accord is dead to me.
I understand that not enough people bought these higher hp products, but it’s just sad to see the performance options of V6, V8, and 2.0T disappearing.

That full throttle engine drone sounds pretty terrible.

It’s crazy to see how the release of this Accord differs from the release of the 10th gen. Back then, Honda was justifying the transition to a turbo 4 claiming how comparable it was to the V6. If you even remember Sofyan did a drag race between a 17 and 18 Accord. Now Honda has lost all of the soul that made a Honda a Honda (not even to mention the rather bland look). It really feels like a step backwards, and I’m not here for it 😢

Honda went from having THE sportiest FWD mid sized sedan offering, to straight appliance in just two quick generations. Stunning.

Why did Honda do that to the Accord!! The previous model was much more exciting and better looking

I had planned to buy the new Touring - but it seems like Honda just went too cheap on a $40k car... I was hoping for AWD. Also, no heated steering wheel, no laminated glass, one seat back pocket? The CRV weighs 400 lbs more, has AWD, laminated glass, and heated steering wheel - yet costs the same??? Is it just me or are others confused by the missing content. $40k is real money and a person can get something much nicer if they find a car (like a BMW, ES350, Acura) one year old. Looks like my shopping continues...

Sorry Honda! This 11th Generation Accord is not it. It is very ugly and frumpy looking. I'll consider the Toyota Camry, Nissan Altima and Mazda 6 over this.

The previous gen looked great. This is the most boring, generic looking car I’ve seen in a long time.

Dated styling that might interest old folks.

Boring dull styling
Overpriced
Basic modern features lacking
Reliability issues creeping up

Expert Score - 5.5/10 👎🏿

The top of the line new Accord with the most powerful engine is now officially slower than a new Prius, good job Honda. Must be very proud

No way I'd pay $39000 for this weak garbage. For last year's 2.0T Touring...yes, definitely.

This is a step backwards I think. It reminds me of what happened to the Acura TSX. The 1st gen TSX was great, had true VTEC, aluminum manifolds, double wishbone, hydraulic steering, and a lot of other features that made it an enthusiast sedan. The 2nd gen TSX was stripped of all of this and was bloated, big, and heavy. Very sad because I was looking forward to this gen Accord.
