This aim of the Migration and Energy Systems Futures: JISEA Catalyzer Summer Webinar Series is to inform energy system projection thinking with broader perspectives on how climate adaptation might influence society. Each webinar includes academics, demographers, sector-specific experts, and contributors from historically Black colleges and universities and minority serving institutions. Led by Dr. Troy Nash and Arielle Nash of The Nash Group, the first webinar of the series focuses on the urgent need for resilient, affordable housing solutions in the face of escalating climate change. The webinar delves into the integration of energy-efficient technologies, highlighting strategies for sustainable community building and navigating the complexities of funding, insurance, and regulations in housing.
