Seriously I've always heard "overcome your fear, recognize it's all in your head it doesn't exist, snuff that voice out!" But advice that helped me was "If you're scared, then do it scared. If you're tired, then do it tired. You can handle it." It's been helping so much lately.

Bill's excellent impression aside, Jeff Bridges' advice is actually pretty profound. As miserable as it can be, our anxiety is trying to protect us, and embracing it rather than trying to suppress it is supposed to be one of the keys to coping.

Jeff’s advice was legit zen Buddhist thought 😂 I’ve read some Thich Nhat Hanh, and he always said to meet your emotions, say “hello, ” acknowledge the emotions as a friend and work with them in a positive way.
