I've been looking for something like this for a long time, I've also looked at other solutions but I keep reading that the panels from ali and co break down pretty quickly so it wasn't an option. But this could finally be the solution. Can't wait, thanks for sharing.

This might just be what I need for a project that will probably not even fucking work.


I was thinking of maybe using a Lenovo Thinkpad X1, and slapping a Linux Distro on it (probably some Arch, as that might work the best), and then finding a way to hook it up directly to the PC for a constant stream of info without requiring much software, or the PC even being on (so I can remote start, boot into BIOS without having to spam those damn keys, etc).


(I really wanna use this project for when I finally start working on my Computer Engineering shit for Uni. So any tips are welcome.)

I have an old ipad that's jailbroken and can be used as a usb monitor. Because it's usb, it's displaying at like 30 hertz 20 fps, but it's just perfect for displaying msi afterburner overlay or other overlays to view data such as the temperatures

You can use an app called macro deck to do something similar on your phone and you can also use split screen on your phone to make it even more like this

When I upgrade my motherboard and cpu what do I do with the old parts, it’s easier to sell a gpu but harder with motherboards and CPU’s.
