Another good question to ask is, "Are you born again?"

Most JWs will say, "No." Only the Anointed class are born again, accordingly to JW doctrine.

Take them to John 3:3 and 1:11-12, and kindly inform them that if they are not born ανωθεν 'again/from above" then they are not children of God and will not see his kingdom, which means they will not be on Paradise Earth (which will be part of God's kingdom).

I was once one of these JW's and I woke up. It is a very tough thing to go through having to remold your reality, deconstruct, and relearn the truth. It hurts knowing you were lied to your whole life but Jesus does offer the way and the truth. Just pray for them to wake up to the evils of the Governing Body and the org.

I can't thank you enough for your throughly research information. I left the Jw cult in 2022 and still fear cross. Can you please do a video about cross? I'd greatly appreciate it.

Love the video. Just a correction/update. 2013 July Watchtower “Tell Us, When Will These Things Be?” Par. 17-19 says they’re NOT yet appointed as Faithful Slave.

Nice video! The name Jehovah wasn't even used until the Middle Ages, as it was the result of monks getting a little confused on how to translate Yahweh into Latin.

I’m actually a bit sick of even thinking about convincing them that they’re wrong. My boss is a JW and I can’t take him seriously. It’s objectively untrue and completely incredible to have been waiting for the end to happen ‘any day now’ for 150 years. It’s laughable. So ridiculous that they can’t be reasoned out of their beliefs, because their beliefs are so unreasonable to begin with. Like trying to convince a three year old that Santa doesn’t exist.

1.If Jehovah's name was removed from the Bible, why should we believe any of the Bible?
2. What evidence do you have that Jesus chose the faithful slave in 1919?
3 Why do t you worship Jesus?
4.Who is your mediator?
5. Has the organisation ever taught anything that is scripturally incorrect?
6.If the name Jehovah is so important, how come Jesus didn't use it?
7.Do you have a personal relationship with Jesus?

Are you aware of the Dueteronimists? They actually DID take many plain teachings out of the OT. I'm not saying that the Bible ought to be thrown out, but it is important to know we don't have the fullness right now. The Lord can lead us and teach us directly those things that are unclear or blurry in the Bible. It is still His word. However, truth is truth and can not change, so when He adds new light, it will build on what we have, not change it 180 degrees, which i think is your point.
Your videos are so useful as I'm meeting with a JW each week, in the hope she'll come to Jesus. ❤

Another good question is "Why do you not partake of the bread and wine?" they will say, "I'm not of the anointed class I have an earthly hope" don't asked them to explain that rabbit hole to you, just share that
John
53 Then Jesus said to them, “Most assuredly, I say to you, unless you eat the flesh of the Son of Man and drink His blood, you have no life in you.

This discourse is from John 6:47, 58

Don't try to change them. Just pray for them.

The original founder Charles Taze Russell, never said much about the name Jehovah. According to the Watchtower, he was the Faithful and Discreet Slave. It took from 1879 until 1931 for the name Jehovah to be adopted. THAT'S 52 YEARS.

52 Years in a nameless wilderness.

Again according to the Watchtower, Jesus took command of the Watchtower in 1919, if the erroneous name "Jehovah" was so important, why didn't the organisation have the name Jehovah originally

It then took from 1919 until 1931 for Jesus to be advised by Jehovah saying "Hey Jesus, I think my name Jehovah should be used as a name for a group of people in New York and is being operated by Mr Rutherford who has anti semitic leanings and is an admirer and supporter of the Third Reich and the Nazi Party"

So, in 1931, the JWs created the name "Jehovah's Witnesses", The very same years they supported the Third Reich and the Nazi Party.

The Watchtower use the name Jehovah only as a "Marketing Exercise".

Do JW’s have a works based faith?

JW: “No, we don’t”

Non-JW: “When someone is disfellowshipped and subsequently shunned within the congregation, what must one do in order to regain admittance? Can their prayer of forgiveness in the eyes of God be enough? Let’s first define “works”.

Work(s) is that which we perform for some kind of reward.

So, if that individual JW were to repent in his heart for a sin committed, would that be sufficient enough? Or do works come into play for that person to “show” repentance?

JW: “…..”

NonJW: “isn’t it true that the individuals prayer of repentance to God is not enough and that person must show “works” by coming and sitting silently in the Kingdom Hall for months, even years, to satisfy the elders in order to show THEM that the individual is repentant and thus worthy of the “reward” of reinstatement?

JW: “…..”

Why JWs don't debate❓🤔 They don't want to be like Paul ❓ Paul debated, argued, and defended the gospel publicly 😊

Acts 18:28 ESV
for *_he powerfully refuted the Jews in public, _* showing by the Scriptures that the Christ was Jesus.

1 Thessalonians 2:2 KJV
But even after that we had suffered before, and were shamefully entreated, as ye know, at Philippi, we were bold in our God to speak unto you the gospel of God with *_much contention._*

Acts 9:29 ESV
And *_he spoke and disputed against_* the Hellenists. But they were seeking to kill him.

2 Corinthians 10:4-5 ESV
For the *weapons of our warfare* are not of the flesh but have divine power to *destroy strongholds.* [5] *_We destroy arguments_** and every lofty opinion raised against the knowledge of God, and take every thought captive to obey Christ, *
