Comparing to many other Youtubers, your channel is really helpful to me. All the lessons including pronunciations, concepts and usages are very precise and clear, which confused me a long time. Thank you, Kevin. A great US English teacher!

Dear teacher Kevin.. You're one of the best teachers I've ever seen on YouTube. Really I'm interested in your lessons which help me a lot to improve my English. I'm from Sri Lanka and have studied English at a Sri Lankan University. My hobbies are reading English books and watching educational videos like these on YouTube. I must say here that you're my favourite teacher, who has taught me a lot so far and I'm looking forward to watching your next video lesson.

I'm back here to confirm if I can say "I passed on him because of his..." Videos of this type don't instantly expand my vocabulary but the important thing for me is that I remember I've watched something that may help me later on.

Can I say I pass on the skills to him?

According to what Kevin said, the phrasal verb is:
- "to pass on TO".
because the example says:
- Does the family pass the traditions on TO their children ?.
# Am I correct Kevin ?.

Could you pass me the salt, please? I like the stew, but it could use a little more salt, at least for my liking. Thank you!

(1) Transitive (must have a _direct object)_
and optionally separable (for a noun object -- but not for a pronoun object, which (as in most optional cases) must separate the verb and the particle).
1a) A sensible acquaintance of mine recommended Kevin and Liza's channel to me and I shall certainly _pass the recommendation on_ (to my students).
1b) A sensible acquaintance of mine recommended Kevin and Liza's channel to me and I shall certainly _pass on the recommendation_ (to my students).
1c) My sister gave me a copy of her lastest novel. I intend to _pass it on_ (when I have finished reading it).
1d) NOT POSSIBLE My sister gave me a copy of her lastest novel. I intend to ~pass on it~ [NO!] (when I have finished reading it).
