In today's English lesson, I am going to teach you 8 phrasal verbs to talk about studying and exams. Using them will level up your English speaking and writing, and help you be more fluent and natural!
Learning phrasal verbs is an important way of improving your English vocabulary. Phrasal verbs are an important part of English language and learning them will help you speak, write and communicate more effectively. Many student's love to improve their English vocabulary, and often learn words but never phrasal verbs. In this way, you will not sound as natural as a native speaker. Therefore, I highly recommend watching my phrasal verb lessons, and below is a list of the previous lessons about phrasal verbs:
1- 6 phrasal verbs to talk about problems and solutions:
2- 5 very useful phrasal verbs to talk about arguments and disagreeing:
As many those who study English are actually students, this lesson will be very useful. Below is this list of chapters for your faster navigation:
00:00 - Intro
00:23 - Keep up with your studies
01:42 - To brush up on something
03:00 - Something comes up in the exam
03:46 - To mug up on something
04:55 - To scrape through
05:48 - To swot up on something
06:36 - To polish up something
07:11 - To pick up something
08:35- Review all 8 phrasal verbs
And here is my favorite part!! Story time!!
09:55 - Now this part is very lovely (in my opinion) because you will learn all the phrasal verbs in the context! Learning the words and vocabulary is one thing, learning how to use them in context is another. Don't miss this part (the story is written by me!).
As always, let me know what you think in the comments below!
