You are all probably eager to hear about what the outcome was from my skiing injury in July. Well I got the MRI result back and have seen my knee surgeon. Here is the injury breakdown:

Injury List:
ACL Tear (LARS graft stable)
3 x Sub-chondral Fractures to tibia and femur
PLUS
Previous 2 x meniscal Tears
Previous 1 x Chondral loose body

Good news is no surgery at the moment!
Rehab, strengthening and Bike for the knee and then return to running test in 7-8 weeks.

Wish me luck!

Glad to hear everything seems to be fine. I’ve also had 2 ACL & 2 meniscus repair surgeries. But, unlike you my knee didn’t hold up as well. When the doctor looked at my last MRI a couple of years back, the first thing he said was ohhhh your meniscus is nearly nonexistent 😂. I’ve been doing weight training for a couple of years now been trying to build a stronger muscles and will keep at it. Good luck with your recovery Tim.

Yes the trend is less surgery the better these days rather than multiple cleanout ops as one gets older. Good luck with the recovery 👍

I’m missing some cartilage. I had to get Euflexxa shots. I am able to run and be more active but I do feel stiffness. So I rest more.

Having healthy cartilage is what’s helping you.
Hope everything pans out good.

When you say instability due to the swelling you mean arthrogenic inhibition? It does it work via another mechanism?
Thank you for the video and hoping you recover well.
