Nick… there are so many of these products. And a LOT of them fail to support all the Toyota and BMW commands. For instance, can it program a new smart key on a Prius? Can it support all the HV battery codes, like the Dr Prius app needs? On a BMW, can it code the system? Can it read stuff like the power roof unit? I want to change my BMW transmission oil, and I need to read the transmission temp sensor. Does it do that? I’m not trying to give you a hard time at all, but I’ve been through about four of these things so far and each has its pros and cons. You’ve used ISTA and Techstream, so I though you might know how it compares to those super expensive tools.

They still do the cat pipe test on older cars its only obd2 that they dont do it on

I dont really understand what happens after using this for 1 year and dont pay anything for the next year. Because what I understand is when you buy first time you already download all car models into the device so next year what happens if I dont update them because if I already downloaded all data before why do I need to download again ? My question is after 1 year use without payıng anything more, can I still do a full system scan like transmission, engine etc and use birectional functions for all car types as I could do first time or all these functions stop working and this device turns to a simple cheap obd scanner ? or the extra payments is only for reset functions ? I dont need reset function but I need to scan any type of car even in the next years and see if the cars have any engine, transmission or other module problem, all systems diagnostics . Can I still do these without paying anything more ?
