THINKCAR THINKDIAG and THINKDIAG Mini Scan tool Review

Since the inception of OBDII in 1996 late model vehicles have become almost entirely electronically controlled. So when that dreaded check engine light comes on you need the right tools to get the problem diagnosed so you can fix it accurately. In this video Greg is back in the shop showcasing two affordable, easy to use diagnostic tools from THINKCAR, a leader in automotive diagnostic equipment.

App Based Operation. Unlike your traditional scan tool that consists of an independent key pad and screen, both the THINKDIAG and THINKDIAG Mini are operated via an app on your smart phone. All you need to do is plug the dongle into the OBDII port on your car, download the app, pair your phone to the dongle via Bluetooth and your ready to start communicating with your car!

Diagnostic Capabilities. Both the THINKDIAG and THINKDIAG Mini pack a ton of diagnostic capabilities. The Mini has the ability to scan and clear codes, view live data, and access fault codes for a slew of control units like the ECU, ABS and even air bag control unit. The THINKDIAG does all that and more! It has the ability to program and code, execute actuation tests, and even common relearn procedures, all functions that would normally require a dealer visit you can now do at home in your own garage.

Will this work to relearn tr sensors and clutch and tcm relearning for ford focus DPS6 transmissions - iI cant find any concrete info that it will relearn after transmission has been replaced.

Sorry, bit confused
So to use bidirectional controls, I have to pay the fee for the certain brand

So I buy Ford pack, and can only use bidirectional on Ford, not bmw for example. And when that subscription expires, I will lose bidirectional controls on the Ford (or the brand I purchased)?

This OBD2 is not worth the money! I have thinkdiag myself 1 year is for all free car brands + functions are gone I now have to pay 70 euros (PER MONTH) for the functions and brands also cost separately money 30 euros do not buy it! Thinkdiag is the biggest scammer
