Modding Passat exhaust back box by removing it and welding universal 2,5" free-flow muffler in place. Exhaust sounds are now awesome, compared to original and car is much more fun to drive around. Car also might have picked up some extra torque at 3000+ rpm., where it used to feel saggy with stock exhaust (this might be just my own illusion).

The car is Volkswagen Passat 2006 with 1.9 TDI engine (BKC). No other performance related mods yet. Total mileage 460 000km.

There is no straight section at the original pipe, so doing this modification with clamp-on mounts would be very hard to achieve. Also, just straight pipe version would have been easier, but I wanted my exhaust to be more street legal.
