Vuk was one of the D'Bari who had escaped the destruction of their planet by the Phoenix Force. She and the surviving D'Bari followed the Phoenix Force across the universe to Earth, where Vuk sought to absorb its power from Jean Grey, who had merged with the Phoenix Force in space.

you left out the part where after the blonde chick says ' your emotions make you weak", Jean Grey replies ' no, my emotions make me strong! " when i saw this in the theatres i exclaimed 'this is the best thing ive ever seen in my entire life and the script writer deserves an oscar, I then stood up and clapped for 15 minutes and had to be removed from the theatre by security

This movie was clearly inspired by the comics "Dark Phoenix Saga" from how jean got exposed in space by solar flare but it's clearly the Phoenix force, but they're missing some point and destroyed the actual storyline in the comics. The kinsberg Cut is more realistic and clear depiction unfortunately they'd never release that cut😢. If you guys watched the kinsberg cut plot, the story was completely, if not, more realistic than this film. The last part of that cut was Jean fighting the battleship of the skrull in space, and completely destroyed it less than a 5 second which is actually happened in comics. it's not only world of skrull being destroyed but the entire solar system upon eating their star D'bari. And the last part is Jean never become white Phoenix but instead she allow herself to be killed because she's slowly regaining strength enough to bring destruction of univere. I wish they will release that cut

She has telekinesis too thats why she was able to hold some of the Phoenix powers, but not all of it since obviously she died in the end when Jean gave her all the Phoenix force.
OnlyTelekinetics and Telepaths can contain the Phoenix force, but not all of them can hold it in. It seems only Jean can.

Jessica got a Razzie Award nomination for the role (Worst Supporting Actress) and the film also got mentioned for Worst Sequel.
They lost against Rebel Wilson in Cats and Rambo: Last Blood (respectively)

Jessica didnt like her character there and hated it. She thought she's gonna be a hero but ended up being a villain, which made her mad.

Even though this version of Phoenix was heavily criticized, she was still powerful af. She'd definitely give Scarlet Witch a run for her money.

It actually takes incredible futility to have the same person adapt the Dark Phoenix saga TWICE... and have someone else be the main villain over Dark Phoenix... TWICE.

the ending was just like on Agatha harkness vs Wanda scene, agatha tried to absorb as much power she could from Wanda that she couldn't contain in all

Looking back here are a few things that could've made this movie a bit better. Getting rid of the Vux character and make her Emma Frost. I know that she died, but they actually could've brought her back. Before Emma died, she psychically transferred her mind into a new body. Emma enters the school under a false name (real name from the body she stole) as a teacher. Manipulating the team from within. Make Jean believe she wants to help her like before. Then reveal who she is and introducing the Hellfire Club. Make the Phoenix Saga a 2- or 3-part film. First would focus on Phoenix, Hellfire part 2, and then make Dark Phoenix part 3 or combined with part 2

I'm sorry that the saga ended with two critical failures. Had to do it on Deadpool 3 invitation. And so were the Gambit and X-Force filming.

It clearly shows, that Jean grey can create, delete & alter the universe with her powers...
More powerful than scarlet witch & thanos....
