Something I've noticed as a long time Forge user who switched to Fabric, Forge seems to be a LOT laggier

i use fabric as it runs better, but i do find myself disappointed when i find a good mod and its only usable on forge

forge if you wanna play old mods. Fabric if you want performance and modernisation. Quilt if you want fabric that isn't transphobic and neoforge if you don't like call of duty lobbies

I use Fabric mostly because of the amount of optimization mods that are on there. Sodium and Lithium only work on Fabric, and a lot of other things like Distant Horizons only work as well. I wonder if Fabric’s API is more lower level than Forge’s.
