“Extracting Like There’s No Tomorrow: Policy Uncertainty, Firm Production, and Environmental Impact”

Speaker: Professor. Bin Li
Bin Li is an Associate Professor of Accounting at the Owen Graduate School of Management, Vanderbilt University. His research primarily examines the impact of accounting disclosures on investor behavior and firm value. More recently, his work has focused on the role of emerging technologies and ESG factors in shaping the fast- evolving landscape of accounting. Professor Li’s research has been published in leading accounting and business journals and has received multiple national awards, such as the Notable Contribution to Accounting Literature Award and the FARS Best Paper Award. Before joining Vanderbilt, he held faculty positions at the University of Texas at Dallas, the University of Oklahoma, and the University of Houston. He completed his Ph.D. in Accounting at Duke University in 2012.
